As far as I know, this particular model of the 040 has never been used as the base processor in an Amiga or an accelerator card. It should however be 100% compatible. The only difference between the 68040 and 68040V is that it uses 3.3V instead of 5V. There have been reports of hardware hackers getting the processor to work in a Cyberstorm Mk-I.
