The AmigaLink is a networking solution which uses the external floppy drive port of the Amiga. It uses the same coax cabling as 10Base2 Ethernet (RG-58U/50Ohm) but is NOT compatible. The AmigaLink is capable of transferring at about 45k/sec and supports up to 20 machines on a maximum cable length of 100 metres. The AmigaLink requires at least Kickstart 1.2, but Kickstart 2.0+ is highly recommended.
The AmigaLink may be the same device as the Disknet, but this has not been confirmed.
