The ProRAM 3000, made by Progressive Peripherals & Software, is a full-length Zorro-III memory expansion board designed for the A3000, but can be used in the A4000 as well.
The ProRAM 3000 accepts 1 Meg or 4 Meg 32-pin SIMM modules. The modules are placed in four banks each holding four modules. 1 Meg and 4 Meg modules can be mixed (same type within each bank) so that the board can hold from 4 Mb to 64 Mb of RAM.
Memory on the ProRAM 3000 is not as fast as motherboard memory, about 80% of normal memory speed.
There are 5 jumpers on the board.

Burst Mode Enable - Jumper 4
OFF = Burst Mode Disabled
ON = Burst Mode Enabled
Memory Link - Jumper 5
OFF = Enable Memory
ON = Disable Memory
Placing a jumper on position 5 will prevent the computer from adding
ProRAM's memory to the free memory list. This allows the memory test
program to check all the memory on the ProRAM 3000. For normal operation,
you must remove this jumper.
