The GRex was one of the first busboards to provide the A1200 with fully active PCI slots. In the latest version all slots support 32bit DMA and are capable of transferring at up to 25MB/sec with 1.76GB of non bank-switching address space. Earlier models may only support DMA in the top 1 or 2 slots. The board has both AT and ATX power supply connectors. In order to use this card, it requires a Blizzard PPC accelerator as it takes advantage of its local expansion bus. The GRex is designed to be installed in one of the following towers:
