The A500+ looks almost identical the original A500, however there are significant differences and was a popular successor, especially amongst gamers. It is usually possible to tell the difference between the two models (other than by the name on the case) by the colour of the LEDs they use. The A500 usually used a red power light and green floppy light, whereas the A500+ used a green power light and an orange floppy light. The A500+ was also supplied with the A520 to allow it to connection directly to a standard television.
